PRE – PRIMARY SECTION OF DEFENCE LABORATORIES SCHOOL – RCI

1. The first six years of child’s life are considered to be the most important, as his /her personality is completely created by the time he / she turns six. Important aspects or faculties such a concentration, work attitude, self confidence and independence are developed during these years.
2. The Pre-Primary programme features a holistic integrated approach where child-centered activities, play, open-ended tasks, explicit teaching – provide a balanced curriculum.
3. We strive to meet the educational needs of the students through a creative learning environment where children will feel happy, secure and understood.
4. The children will participate in various activities throughout the year, which are an integrated part of the curriculum and will add to the personality development of the child.

Various activities in Pre-Primary section :

1. Drawing and colouring, PT-Drill and games, Toy room / Activity centre, Audio-Visual Experience, Art and Craft, Special events, Festivals, visit to various services like Post – Office , Bank, Hospital, Park, Zoo, Outings, CCA Activities.

Note

1. No One Should be absent during the Assessments, Periodic Tests or Final Examination. Except in emergency with the permission of principal.
2. Multiple assessments will be conducted in the specified week only.
3. Assessments marks are to be entered into the system by the teacher in the immediately succeeding week.
4. The timetable of the M.A, P.T and Annual Examination will be given by the Exam Department.
